Vinyl Revolution is a small business based in Oxford that specialises in vinyl graphics. We sell vinyl stickers and interior design products all over the world online. We also offer custom design and vinyl graphics services for vehicles, offices, events, bars, shops and restaurants. We serve most regions in the South of England for our custom services. We are hiring a vinyl signs and print production specialist for a full-time position to support us with graphic design, customer service and print management.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced vinyl signs and print production specialist to support us with branding services for clients and print management in our studio in Oxford. You are expected to be very experienced working in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, using and maintaining wide-format printers, a native English speaker, comfortable corresponding with clients to develop signage projects, and able to manage your time independently. You must have experience both producing and fitting vinyl graphics.

Here are some examples of the types of graphics we expect you to be able to fit and produce:

You will be in direct contact with our clients in order to get their design requirements, quote for vinyl graphics services, prepare design proofs and finalise print files for the production team. When necessary you will be involved in the production of vinyl graphics in the studio as well as supervising jobs during the production process. Ideally you should also have experience fitting vinyl graphics as you may be required to fit graphics on-site with clients. Please provide details of relevant experience in CV. CSCS cards and vocational certifications are preferred but not required. We will not accept applications unless you have significant experience managing wide-format printers and vinyl graphics production. Accepted applications will go through an online interview process and then be asked to come to our Oxford offices to meet the team.

You will be expected in the office 9-5 (sometimes longer if a project demands it) and working with a young and motivated team. There is substantial scope for growth within the company based on your performance.

Skills Required

You are expected to speak fluent English and will be taking on the following responsibilities.

1. Production and print management
   1. Vinyl graphics production.
   2. Vinyl wrapping and fitting on-site for clients.
   3. Colour management and print file preparation.
   4. Wide-format printer maintenance and cleaning.
2. Graphic design
   1. Vector graphic design in Adobe Illustrator.
   2. Photography editing in Adobe Photoshop.
3. Customer relationship management:
   1. Email correspondence with clients to understand requirements.
   2. Quoting prices for custom jobs based on requirements.
   3. Preparation of design proofs for approval.
   4. Creation of print files once proof is approved.
   5. Working with studio team closely to ensure smooth transition from design to production.

Salary

£20,000 – £30,000 starting salary depending on experience. Lots of scope for job growth and wage increases based on performance.
