Unique van branding with a Japanese twist.

We used high performance sign vinyl to create an ink-splatter Japanese flag on the sides. This was overlaid with custom decals and combined with a full wrap on the rear doors to make this van stand out of the crowd.

We love quality food and Japanese cuisine so it was a no brainer when Oxford-based, Japanese catering service I’m Japanese asked us to design vehicle graphics for their new van. They wanted something bold and different to make their van stand out. They came to the right place.
Custom van graphics for I’m Japanese
I’m Japanese wanted to be different, but they weren’t sure how. We spent some time discussing the brand and what they wanted to communicate to their customers on the road. After a couple rounds of revision back and forth we settled on a bold design that emphasised the Japanese origin of the food while still keeping costs at an acceptable level. No small business wants to break the bank when they get their van sign written. By limiting the design to several layers of self-coloured vinyl we were able to find a solution that achieved the bold aesthetic I’m Japanese wanted without having to resort to a full vehicle wrap in laminated digital print. We combined the ink splatter flag and overlaid the I’m Japanese logo along with several smaller decals on the sides. Then we wrapped the back doors and bonnet in a matching colour before fitting decals with all the necessary business information over the top. You can be sure this van is turning heads around Oxford’s farm markets and catering events!
